Whistleblowing
Misconduct has a negative effect on any workplace, especially one such as ours where it could adversely impact large segments of the public. At Synapxe, we do not tolerate any illegal, unethical or wrongdoings by staff in the course of their work.

Safeguarding Mechanisms
You do not have to reveal your identity unless you choose to do so. All reports will be treated with confidence and every effort will be made to ensure that confidentiality is maintained throughout the process.
Telephone calls to the whistleblowing service are not recorded, nor is there a caller ID to identify the call. Your report will only be known by a reference number unless you choose to tell the whistleblowing service your name.
Synapxe prohibits retaliation of any kind against a whistleblower who submits a report in good faith. If a whistleblower believes that he/she is being subjected to retaliation from whistleblowing, he/she should immediately report it to the Human Capital Management department.
Handling of Reports
The whistleblowing service is managed by Deloitte Halo, which provides an independent whistleblowing service on behalf of MOHH, AIC, Synapxe, NHG, NUHS, SCRI and SingHealth.
It would be ideal if you have critical information on hand before you make the report. Hence, you should provide as many details and be as specific as possible. This includes names of people or witnesses involved, dates, time, location and frequency of the misconduct, details of evidence and whether there is any money or assets involved. However, it is not expected that you will know every detail. If you suspect there is wrongdoing, but do not know of the details, just reporting it is enough. Most reported cases are uncovered through tips from honest people who are not sure of the facts.
After you have made a report, Deloitte Halo will provide information it collected to dedicated representatives from the MOHH Group. MOHH Group will decide whether an investigation or follow-up actions are required, as required by law or a regulatory authority. This is dependent on factors such as the nature of information provided, the details, documentation and company policy.
There will be no need for you to be involved any further, unless you would like to provide new information or make an adjustment to a previous report. You can do so by logging on to the website with your reference number and password provided when you submitted your initial report. Alternatively, you can call the service and quote the reference number.
